Stanley Dewight Thomas, age 59, of Oakwood, passed away Jan. 17th, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center after an extended illness.

Mr. Thomas was a native of Hall County. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Thomas was a truck driver for Overnight Transportation for the past 31 years.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday Jan. 19th in the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Wahoo Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation was 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The Rev. Dean Bryant and the Rev. Ken Anderson will be in charge of the services.

Mr. Thomas' survivors include: his wife, Carolyn Nalley, Lula; brother, Jewell V. Thomas, Lula; step-daughter, Teresa Johnston, Lula; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
