Terry Gene Walker, age 62 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.


Memorial services are scheduled for Sunday, June 17, 2012 at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Dwayne Payne will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 17, 2012 from 2 – 6 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home.


Mr. Walker was born April 22, 1950 in Dahlonega, Georgia to Burle Walker and Emma Montine Satterfield Clark. He was a self-employed Painter and of the Baptist Faith. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Burle Walker and his sister, Catherine Weaver.


Mr. Walker is survived by his mother, Emma Montine Clark of Gainesville, sisters, Cindy Smith of Lula, Martha Saunders of Gainesville and Judy Thompson of Gainesville, brothers, Bill Walker, Ricky Clark and Reggie Clark, all of Gainesville and a number of other relatives.
