Police ask for public's help solving copper theftsBy Katie Crumley Access Insider GWINNETT COUNTY - Gwinnett County police are now turning to the public to help them solve a string of copper thefts at the county's parks and recreational facilities.
"Since this has been occurring, we haven't been able to develop a lead," Cpl. David Schiralli said. Schiralli said police have increased patrols at night and area checks of the parks since the thefts began in August 2008. "Anyone with information can contact the Gwinnett Police Department at 770-513-5300," he said. Schiralli said the most recent theft occurred on Christmas Eve. © Copyright 2013 AccessNorthGa.com
