Firefighters extinguish tanker truck fire on Hwy. 283

CLERMONT - Highway 283 was shut down for roughly an hour Saturday morning as Hall County Fire firefighters worked to contain a fire that erupted on a tanker truck.

Hall County officials said the call came in around 10 a.m. The incident occurred near the intersection of Holly Springs Road.

No injuries were reported.
