Girls basketball: Lakeview falls to Providence

GAINESVILLE -- The Lakeview girls basketball team suffered a 52-33 loss to Providence Christian on Friday night in Gainesville.

The Lady Lions got six points each from Jamie Nixon and Molly Gay in the loss.

Providence was led by 16 points from Jessie Shannon.

Lakeview will play host to Commerce on Saturday.
