Barrow Co. to hold hearing on changing alcohol ordinance
By Katie Crumley Access Insider
WINDER - A public hearing will be held Tuesday night in Barrow County on changing the county's ordinance to allow Sunday alcohol sales.
The hearing is set for 6:30 p.m. at the county's administration annex building.
Following the hearing, Barrow County commissioners will decide whether or not to change the county's alcohol ordinance at their regularly scheduled meeting.
Barrow County was one of a number of Georgia cities and counties where voters agreed in November to allow people to buy packaged beer and wine on Sundays.
