Crash brings air ambulance to Dawsonville Hwy.

GAINESVILLE - A single-vehicle crash closed Dawsonville Highway for a time in Hall County Saturday afternoon.

Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said the wreck happened around 12:30 p.m. in the area of Old Fork and Ford White roads. It involved a pickup truck.

"The only occupant of the vehicle was ejected and that is who we flew," Kimbrell said.

The air ambulance left with the victim around 1:00 p.m.

"It was just a single-vehicle. The vehicle did roll over, and the only occupant was ejected," Kimbrell said.

Kimbrell said investigators remained on the scene into the afternoon.
