Police working to identify victims of Sugar Hill crash

BUFORD - Gwinnett County authorities are working to identify two people killed when their vehicle crashed into a tree on Sycamore Road in Sugar Hill late Monday.

According to Gwinnett County police, the driver of a dark gray BMW 740i was heading north on Sycamore Rd. when the driver lost control.

Authorities said the BMW slammed into the tree and exploded. They said the car was burned beyond recognition.

It is believed that the duo were traveling to Lake Lanier after leaving an Alcohol Anonymous class.
